Moodboard 5.0
Things I'm loving:
1. Black and White everything. Last mood board I told you about my recent obsession with analog photography. My fixation has only grown in the past week and I've found myself falling in love with new black and white photographers. I discovered Ansel Adams years ago and I still believe he was one of few capable of transmitting the full outdoors experience through his majestic photos. I see this one in particular and it leaves me in absolute awe.

Things I need this week:
1. I need more silence in my life. I miss my times of reflection and I am willing to make an effort to spend more time quietly.
2. Perspective. That photograph of the woman leaning against the wall reminds me of how bad I need to shift perspective in so many aspects of my life. I've been practicing the ancient art of prioritizing lately and I must say it's refreshing.
3. I also need to stop posting photos of people smoking... I know.

  2. Ansel Adams, although overused in every sense of the word, is the most incredible photographer. I completely agree with you! How he was able to capture white in such a way was revolutionary for the time. Love him!

    1. Hello, Casandra. I'm sure it's not Adam's but I don't know the source, it is one of my pinterest pins. I'll get back to you if I find it.

  11. Once in a while I feel the sudden urge to switch entirely to analog B&W photography. It mostly happens when I look at the beautiful photos by skilled photographers like Ansel Adams and mood boards like this one!

When it comes to the need of silence, I know exactly what you mean. I feel that I especially need it when I am overstimulated by ideas through the web. It's not easy to just be silent but I hope you will find a way to do it! The most important thing is to acknowledge that you have a need for it.

    1. You are so right and my issue might be that I have very little time offline. You are the best, Anna! Thank you for your comments.
