Whole Living
To continue with this day of showcasing the things I'm loving recently let me tell you I' loving the idea of living a healthier life. Martha Stewart's Whole Living website has a great action plan for those who want to detox and move pass icky habits. I've been having a rough time picking up weight for the past 7 months - Don't get me wrong, It don't think being on the thin side is bad but I do think that thin and unhealthy is nothing to be envious of. I started a detox yesterday and I'm already feeling better. I think putting more effort into meal-planning will pay off in happiness and pounds. Healthy living, here I come!. Those who want to lose, gain weight or simply having better eating habits, I recommend you read through darling Martha's site.

P.S. My apologies to those Pinterest friends whose boards I flooded with recipes for juices and smoothies.

  1. Oh please keep flooding!! I love that site. Those smoothies are all delicious! The great part about that site too is that she switches things about twice or so a month so it's pretty awesome to go to mainpage and see something different! Best wishes on eating healthier!

    1. Yay! I fell in love with the concept of spring cleaning one self too. I think that site is SO useful and it was probably the one I avoided reading for too long. Can't wait to read your post. xo

  3. This sounds so good for you–and everything looks delicious, too! I'm proud that John and I eat organic and homecooked, but we do occasionally indulge in something we shouldn't!

    1. Go you! Eating organic is the normal life-style here and I'm so happy because veggies and good food is far cheaper than junk. I eat out very rarely so I think I have everything going for me to pick up those pounds and feel better. I'd LOVE some recipes, Lena. xoxo

  4. Good for you, Ana! It's always so hard to get completely healthy. Seems like chocolate sneaks in sometimes. These look wonderful! I'll have to look at Martha's site then.

    1. I know, right? I think I've been mostly fearing not being healthy because I always have and now I just feel tired and completely out of shape. I think a good 5 pounds would work wonders on me.

  5. This is awesome, I am currently doing the same thing! I will keep watching you progress through the blog. I have found Holistic Health and Wellness Project Blog a treat to get me started. To kick it off I started with 80% fresh fruit and vegies and 20% other foods in my daily diet.

Ii will also report progress on my blog and my program shortly.

    Good luck! Xx

    1. I've always been healthy and even though I could not for the life of me be a vegan - 80% of my diet is vegetable based. I have a deep admiration for vegetarians, whether done for Religious or health reasons it is a complete other life-style. Good for you, Ruzu!

  9. I did their 21 days detox plan a few months back and it was amazing. The first week was a bit hard but by the end of it I felt so good. (I had to cut back on coffee in the fist week). Muah, sweetie.

  10. Inspirational post for me. Why? Because I am in Paris and surrounded by baguettes and fatty croissants everywhere! I went to the grocery store today and but some good wholesome foods to balance out my meals instead of living off of creamy cheeses and white bread.

Thank you for keeping my motivation to eat whole alive.

  12. I'm a newer reader, originally found you as an amazing source of design inspiration for my freelance work. Just wanted to say I really appreciate your blog for a couple different reasons, one being your aesthetic that I find really timeless and current at the same time. But another, I'm someone who also struggles with being underweight. I've never heard or have met anyone who has had a similar issue, aside from you. I've said what you have said about being underweight so many times. So in theme with one of your current blogtalk entries, I truly appreciate you opening up about this particular piece of your life. I don't dwell on my underweight issues, (and it doesn't seem like you do either) but I'm consistently searching out ways to gain weight and maintain a healthy balance. Glad I have a personal connection to you because it will keep coming back to blogmilk that much more inspiring.
