  2. Well my jaw dropped when I saw this Ana! What an amazing giveaway!
I have to say the greatest gift of being a mother, is the unconditional love my children freely give to me. Their kisses and hugs brighten my days (and make up for when they misbehave;)).
    Happy Mother's Day {almost}!

  12. My mom can be disapproving but she is never judgmental. She listens with an open mind and heart and that is a quality hard to come by in anyone, not just a mom. She can be one of the biggest nags ever, but I remind myself that not everyone is so lucky to have such a caring person in their life!

  15. My mother has taken care of me my whole life with a smile on her face--she is honest-to-goodness the most joyful person I have ever known. She took care of me when I was a kid and when I fell apart in the middle of college. She is a supermom because she knows when to say yes, when to say no, and how to make sure her kids know how precious they are to her no matter how hectic her life is. I can't imagine I'll ever be as great a mom as she is, but even getting halfway there would be pretty awesome.

Maybe I should write that in her mother's day card...hm...

  17. I am in awe of babies. I love how they call me mommy, pucker their lips, their creativity , way of seeing, noticing, being in the world, their little bums, their sibling relationship, their sense of humor, their delight, their style, the way they love me, their voices, need to dance/perform/run/jump/climb

  21. Hi Ana,

My mum passed away a few years ago, so unfortunately I would not be able to give it my mum, I would give it to my sweet mum in law, for sure she would love it. What I loved about my mum, she was my best friend, she knew me better than anyone else and had a perfect timing calling me, somehow she knew I needed her at that moment. She always made time for us and gave the best hugs!! My mum in law considers me her 3rd child. What i like most about her is she accepts me the way I am and loves me anyway:-).

    Almost happy mothersday!

  23. For me being a mom is the best thing I could ever imagine. My son is my everything and I truly feel like you do not know pure love until you have children. He knows me in ways no one else ever will. When I am sad he always knows what little special thing to say to make me happy. I just love my little boy <3

  24. My grandmother raised me and I love her so much and have the most respect for her. NO matter what in my life if she said something she did it. I always knew she would do what she said and that still means everything to me. I was taught a person is always as good as their word. My grandmother was raised with hardly anything being raised in a small shack in the woods with 6 other siblings. Her father was a farmer and moonshine maker. After she got married to my grandfather they saved and worked hard and now she owns a lot of our small city :) <3 I love her so much..

  45. I have always been a very optimistic and happy person and being a mom has only heightened that. Everyday I have a moment where I just stop in my tracks and look at my life and realize how truly blessed I am. It's a very wonderful feeling. And having a child of my own has made me appreciate my mother more than words can say.

  50. I love that my daughter tells me everything that happens during her day. Being in school, a lot happens during her day with a variety of different people and personalities . I like that she tells me everything (good or bad) and hope she continues to trust me as she gets into her teenage years. I also love that she is so smart and talented in so many ways. She inspires me to be more creative and fun. Makes me a proud mama.
