This weekend reminded me that it is all about the little things in life. Like health, friends, happiness, sunny days and all the things money can't buy. I had been craving some new things lately so I decided to go kayaking at night last Friday and it turned out to be the best decision I have made lately. Just being there at night, fresh air, lovely thoughts and the gorgeous glow a the full moon gave me tons of energy. Saturday was one of the busiest days ever which made my Sunday a little short. Shameful confession: I slept for a big part of the day and even though I had planned to watch movies I also slept through those. Boy how I needed a good rest!

This week I'm grateful for health, Emma, work, new connections with amazing designers, travel plans and the soon-to-come Olympics. Ha! - Beautiful images.

What are you loving this week?

  1. I am glad you took a break I am sure you feel much better. I was feeling like you just burnout and took about a week off from work myself. I love designing and being artistic but the thing with that is as creative people we work from the heart and soul were not productive if that is out of sync.

  8. Ahhh, kayaking in the moonlight? Yes, please. I'm so glad you're finally catching up with rest! You deserve to hibernate all you want, Ana. This weekend made me remember how important family is and how much I appreciate friendships. I'm grateful for those and for what's to come in the future. Happy Monday, dear.

  11. Kayaking! That sounds great, Ana!

You are right, it's definitely about the little things in life that money can't buy. I learned that while I was traveling abroad too - - money can't buy the wonderful relationships you have with the people you love the most as well as the valuable memories you create. :)

    1. So true! That also became more of a reality to me when I moved to Brazil. Seeing the poorest of people leaving in beautiful mountains, surrounded by some of the most incredible landscapes I've ever seen and being grateful with what they have. The sea, the landscapes are all free for those who have and who don't have money. I love that.
