Moodboard 16.0
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I gave myself license to indulge this 2 days and started off on Friday by cancelling all my appointments and buying 4 books of which I have read 3(!). It had been a long time since I had time to sit and read quietly and I'm so happy I did. I'm looking forward to reading a thriller this week. Those keep me awake. This week I'm grateful for color, giggles and book writers - beautiful images.
Happy Monday!

What a great way to take time of! All these images make me want to pick up one of my big canvases and paint it in bright and bold colors. (I'm really having the itch for doing some painting now, especially since I'm reading for my exams which means that I absolutely shouldn't prioritize my time on painting. Funny how our minds work.) Love those yellows, blues and purples together. Happy Monday to you!
ReplyDeleteOh, Anna! You just made my fingers itch :) I love painting too but after having Emma I kind of felt I had lost my passion for painting. Maybe because I used to do it in silence and there's an immense lack of that at home now. Not that I don't love it. I'd love to see your paintings!
Deletegorgeous..indeed, we all need more time 'Offline' to load up our batteries and indulge as you say in "real" life again.. have a lovely time reading! adore the first image, stunning! xo
ReplyDeleteOhhhh what books did you read? Sounds like you had a nice relaxing Mother's day weekend :) Enjoy the beginning of your week, Ana.
ReplyDeleteDig those colors and liveliness of this moodboard!
Cathy Trails
Hi Ms. Cathy! I read "Force of Circumstance", "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and "Fifty Shades of Grey". I'm looking for a new thriller. Love those books but I have mixed feelings about Fifty Shades Of Grey. My problem is that I always have to read all the books if it's a series so I'll make up my mind once I've read the other 2 :) Thanks for stopping by, Ms. Cathy! Happy Monday!
DeleteOhh I love reading books as well... I usually read in the tub while having a bath. Happy that you had a great weekend, sunshine. Muah
ReplyDeleteSo relaxing! I don't have a tub but if I did I'd totally do the same :) Send me book recommendations... I love love love books!
DeleteLoving these images to start off the week. 3 books in less than 3 days?! That is impressive.
ReplyDeletet's probably because I hadn't read for a long time. I'm kind of obsessive like that :( eek!
DeleteProps to you for taking some quiet reading time for yourself this weekend. There's nothing like getting lost in other worlds and watching stories unfold. I just started a new book today and I seriously didn't want to come to work so I could finish it. If only I could take time off for that! Hope your week is off to a brilliantly colorful start!
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! I really enjoyed the time off :) Which book is that?
DeleteReading can feel like such an indulgence can't it?? Love that yellow lipstick, wish I could pull it off!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely does! I want to start a new book today but too scared I might not want to work. I bet you CAN pull it off!
DeleteCancelling appointments and kicking back to read sounds like the perfect (and most relaxing) time :b
ReplyDeleteYes! Lucky me I was working for fellow moms and they also happened to be needing a break. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day, Noelani!
DeleteWhat a fabulous weekend-I just love diving into new books, but I always feel like I need to take a vacation to do it!
ReplyDeleteOh me too! I'm still dreaming of the weekend. It's been one of the most restful ones of lately. I wish you get some time off soon, although your weekends are amazing!
DeleteWhat perfect bright inspiration for this season:)
