I've been missing my traditional cooking sessions these days. It's been a long time since I spent some quality time with my pots and pans and I'm ready for something new and exciting. These Onion pies look like they're true happy-makers and I will have to go through more "Dramatic Pancake" posts until my cooking spirits rise up. How are you doing in the cooking department?
Oh wow these look so good. When it comes to cooking I have not really been in the mood but now baking on the other hand sometimes I just want to do it so much.
I will admit to having scoffed at the idea of an onion pie at first, but seeing these little beauties has converted me. Oh, what a wondrous thing they are! I will definitely be trying these soon -- and maybe figuring out a gluten-free alternative to that crust.
My cooking endeavors are in a weird place right now. Since it's only me, I eat what I want, which means that I don't always have the best variety of food around. There's lots of kale and brown rice -- it's just so darn good!
INCREDIBLE! I love anything like this and if gruyere is involved, so much the better. I love the name of that blog - Dramatic Pancake -- so great! I can't say I've been up to anything fabulous in the kitchen lately, but I think this recipe might give me some much needed inspiration :)
Ana! I was so excited to see your guest post today on Cathy's blog! These little onion pies look delectable...I'll have to take a look and see if I can even do this, since I'm not exactly the best chef in the kitchen. I can almost smell them! :) Happy Monday to you!
ooohhh, great inspiration for cooking :) i'm slacking in the cooking department as well and missing it too. one day soon when i'm really hungry it will start, lol. xo

Lovely shots. I got back from a two week trip to Brazil which was not much of a holiday. I did bake a lot over there. Got back over a week ago and have slightly started all over again at this end. Always miss my kitchen.
These look utterly delicious! Just the pictures made me kind of hungry, although I had a breakfast a moment ago..
ReplyDeleteI go through that ALL the time. I have breakfast thinking about lunch. I have issues. :)

I feel the same way when I'm sans Emma. She's a foodie but she would not eat arugula, mint and poached egg salads. Why!?
DeleteI saw a recipe for almond + Apricot cake the other day and thought of you. It sounds heavenly, doesn't it?
This spells PURE HAPPINESS to me! :) Looks amazing! xoxo

Hahahah! You are the best! I force myself to cook everyday but I like some quiet afternoons in the company of 3min noodle soup.
DeleteGruyere cheese in these suckers? I'm in!!! Yes!
ReplyDeleteCathy Trails
