It's been a while since I last shared a "City Bites" post so this week the talented Sian Richardson of "Fresh by Sian" made my day when she emailed me and said she'd be joining us today to showcase an amazing place to dine and shop in Australia and I couldn't be happier as I currently plan and scheme for my upcoming trip.
Sian is an amazing Aussie Designer soon to be based in New Zealand. She's a a source of inspiration to those who visit her and a breath of fresh air with her honesty and openness. Her free-spirited ways inspire me and encourage me to also be a go-getter, I know you can't wait to read more about her (!) but let's get to know Koskela first.
Koskela is the vision of Russel Koskela and Sasha Titchkosky - produces of Australian furniture that is beautiful, functional and durable. These are the qualities they value and the standards they aspire to every day, by the photos taken by Sian and their amazing website I can definitely see this to be true.
They serve both big and small clients and their Sidney showroom is a representation of that, hosting a beautiful cafe named Kitchen by Mike, an organic and self-sustainable haven where the menu changes each day depending on what's fresh - Alongside the beautiful selection of Australian handmade goods and high-end pieces of furniture.
If you are in Autralia, visit them:
