I stumbled upon La Casita de Wendy a few days ago and I was so excited to see that blanket (2). I bought E a ton of non-expensive bits for Christmas but I never found "the" present until I saw that blanket. E is a girl after my own heart, she daydreams a lot and is fixated on moons and stars and the entire Milky Way thing, I'm sure she'll be as excited as I am when she sees it covering her new big-girl bed. Sigh... It is this moments like this that make me want to never forget milestones and how her little face lighted up at the simplest things. I also must confess that I personally see that black dress (1) as "the" present for myself. Black, cat eyes, whiskers?... I can hardly wait!
P.S. I love that "La Casita de Wendy" means Wendy's Little House. Cute.

DeleteIt sounds like E and I would get along well. I saw that blanket and instantly fell in love. Doesn't help that I have an astrophysics background and am still obsessed with stars and exo-planets and black holes. The universe is such an amazingly beautiful place.
