01. BACK TO BASICS

I've been meaning to post a new series ( and will in the future ) about having a healthy approach to blogging and working from home... but realized that before doing that we should talk more about what it really is that's encouraging us to sacrifice more and more - to the point of exhaustion. Is it a "side effect" of becoming successful or the anxiety that the success of others is putting on us?
I realized last night that in my personal case it really isn't about getting from point A to point B... it is the journey that has changed me - my life and the people around me. Little decisions like what we choose to promote and share on our blogs make all the difference in how we experience this lifestyle so how about we take a week to go back to the root of it all?
How about we go back to the basics?
This week take time to post about what you love, leaving aside schedules and statistics... What is it that you want to share? What do you love to post about?

oh, you always speak from your heart and therefore always reach mine! .. first needed to let you know, this.
ReplyDeleteSo true, am on a new the edge of a new journey or beginning you might call.. a little fresh start of my Blog, Blogging, Sharing, Socializing etc. indeed, recently been feeling a bit overwhelmed and exhausted of all what has been going on .. and had to take a step back to see the big picture and take a deep breath. Realize and find out what is really important in my life, of course family, friends .. but also my need to share and communicate over my Blog and Social Media! Still not quite there yet, but feeling better already with my choice to take it slow and listen to my inner voice!
Sending you a big hug abroad and hope we can collaborate/work together in the near future soon again! As my "Blog Change" journey I'm on now, calls and longs for a new Blog Layout as well! ;) ...
Big hug! xo Camilla

Oh, I just love this idea! I think we all fall into the trap of analytics and schedules, but when I put together a really lovely, well-curated week or find a gorgeous wedding, it's worth all the time and energy!
