I know, I know... I'm obsessed with Scandinavian-everything - But let me say this: When one wakes up to a messy home and a bright yellow wall that you have hated since the second you moved into your home, and you have spent that many months promising yourself you'll paint over it with your favorite shade of white, one gets OCD juices flowing and end up swooning over other people's homes (and possibly crying over that hideous wall).
Where do you get decor inspiration from?

This is glorious. I am all about the sleek, clean look lately.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of walls you've hated from the get-go - my home used to be my grandmother's home, and there is some decidedly outdated wallpaper in several major rooms. It's floral and rather overwhelming and is number one on my projects list!
Hahaha! I wish I could see that wallpaper. Somehow vintage wallpaper makes me happy but I couldn't stand it in my own home. Sigh.
DeleteWhat a stunning space! My aesthetic is a little more traditional, so I love Traditional Home and Southern Living for my design inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love how Southern style is so cozy and inviting. Sometimes I feel like it's difficult to bring all the elements together with Scandi design.
DeleteLove these images. I was just talking to a friend earlier this week about how there's so much amazing design coming from Scandinavia and how I'd love to go there!
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been planning my trip for over 2 years. My family think it's getting old but I'll get there. I'm sure ;) Maybe we should go together.
Deletethese homes are divine. i guess i like more colour and textures in comparison.
ReplyDeleteWow, this home looks amazing. I wouldn't mind living there. :)
ReplyDeleteNeither would I. Since I'm back to a nomad life I should contact this people and ask for refuge. hehe! JK
DeleteI LOVE Scandinavian everything. Have you heard about the Treehotel in Sweden? It's a cluster of sleek "cabins" suspended from trees in the forest. Both the exterior and interior have the contemporary "Swedish" aesthetic but it's totally self-sustained and eco-friendly! You should definitely check it out! Loving your blog, by the way.
ReplyDeleteI definitely will, Haruka! Thank you for commenting and sharing. So happy.
Deletelove these spaces. i love browsing cabinporn.com for cozy cabin inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds genius! Must visit. Thank you, Lo!
Deletethese homes are absolutely gorgeous, i really love the scandinavian look too at the moment. they inspire me to completely de-clutter my home :)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same :) let's do this!
