Don't Throw
Your Siblings Under
The Bus
Sisters is a brand based in Istanbul and founded this 2016. Free Spirit is the first thing that comes to mind when you look at their site; evoked by the style of their photography and catch phrase "Don't Throw Your Siblings Under The Bus" - Sisters' mission is to put a light on positive women relationships and empower them through fashion. The genius behind the visuals is Designer Ozan Akkoyun who focused on the sartorial intersection between the unfussy L.A. style and casual French elegance.

Inspired by one of Message Candle's perfect products, they took inspiration in the beautiful, organic and simple aesthetics of a candle - Contributing to the visual essence of the company and making it that much more difficult for us to resist buying one. Glossier
If you have been living in this planet, then you must already know about the genius that is Glossier. Glossier started back in 2010 with the blog intothegloss.com - Founded by beauty Editors who were not afraid of trying close to anything to make the best reviews and now the best products. I find Glossier to be game-changing. It's real brand for real girls, easy to wear, 3 steps and focused on making us the priority and not the product itself. That's what caught my eye about their choice of packaging and their stunning website. It is fun, it is fresh and most importantly it's relatable.

Cultural Appropriation
The project above is the result of the collaboration between Product Designer, Ema Gerovac and Filip Pomykalo both from Croatia. The intention was to explore the positive sides of boredom parting from a few basic questions like, is boredom making the viewer more creative?. They also delve into how cultural appropriation be used in branding as a positive communication tool between cultures and clearly, they do all of this in a creative, genius way. From the use of the typography to the styling, the result is absolute perfection.

Bing Bang Jewelry
Bing and Bang - like most four letter words - are far bigger than the sum of their parts. The design of the eponymous line of jewelry follows the tradition of its founder, Anna Sheffield. Her background in the blacksmith's shop still holds true today, with use of hammer and anvil in the making of BB products, most of which are made in a NYC studio.

Branding: Mada
This is a beautiful project by La Tortilleria for Mada, an Architecture Firm based in Mexico. From La Tortilleria's website: Originally founded in an old tortilla factory building, La Tortillería is a creative company with a passion for images and words with the exceptional ability of turning them into an exquisite reflection of an idea. We create, brand, design, publish and advertise blending creativity and functionality to grant each project a unique personality. We are creative problem solvers who begin with the end in mind either from scratch or from an outlined plan and make things happen come hell or high water. It all sounds and looks brilliant to me.
