Two things are on my mind today, the first is more of a question, how is it possible that we are past the half year mark and I still feel like January was a week ago? Tell me I'm not alone. This is starting to scare me. Second, No Diggity was never a song to consider for a mix until the genius that is Chet Faker decided to make a cover of it and now, I find myself singing (screaming from the top of my lungs) "Hey yo, hey yo, hey yo, hey yo" - Much to my neighbors' dismay. I'm dying to go on a road trip, friends. It's been rainy and blue around here and the possibilities of that happening any time soon are very* slim. I decided to give myself a little push with this mix and try to patiently wait for the right time. Patience doesn't come easy for me but I must admit it's helped. A few months ago I went on a coastal road trip and drove vintage van that smelled like the 1970's (sigh)... and by vintage I mean falling-apart-old. I loved it.
